I’ve never felt so helpless when it comes to money. ‘Cause its YOU who’s squeezing that pump and you want it to stop but need the gas.

Except maybe in Vegas when I put 5 bucks down on the blackjack table and they disappeared before I even sat down. I didn’t even blink and I lost.

I think here in Canada they slow down the pumps with every raise in price.  They think you will believe you get more for your money....

Yes....the car I recently got has a V8 and gas in Snow Mexico isn’t cheap.

Also, I love to push the throttle every chance you get . But then I think that maybe my driving habits don’t gel with the  40 mile daily commute lol

One of the benefits of having a company vehicle is that I’ve spent very little on fuel over the last few months. And now that I have no car, it’ll go even lower.

I’ll still get gas for our other car from time to time, but I barely drive it because it’s not my car.

Do what I did and buy a smaller car. The pump goes just as fast, but not as far! I can hardly get €40 in now.

I would disagree with that. Ever try just that last little squeeze to bring it from $ X.99 to $(X+1).00 without overshooting ? It’s one hell of a lot easier at $0.85/L than at $1.40.

I don’t know about that. Sure, it hurts to put $12 0+ in my new-to-me Jeeps’s 90L tan, but at the same time it was much more aggravating having to stop for gas way more often in the Niva with its 43L tank. To put it mildly, the Niva would do maybe 300 km on the highway on a tank, but the ZJ has done 500km  so far on this last fill , mostly around town, and the gauge is still just above 3/8 of a tank. Highway range in the ZJ is 800 or so km, in a medium sized 4x4 SUV.

At least with your T wingo it won’t reach the numbers it does with a 5-cylinder petrol Volvo when you’re commuting for 2 hours on highway daily.
